| Welcome to Chalet Le Moulin in Sixt Chalet Le
Moulin is located in a beautifull setting in the clam outskirts of the old village
Sixt-Fer-a-Cheval in the Grand Massif in Haute Savoie in the French Alps.
The
chalet is located at the end of a dead end road, about 1 KM outside Sixt, right next to
the melting water river Torrent de Gers. The grounds of the chalet borders
upto Reserve Naturel Sixt-Fer-a-Cheval and offers the guests a unique sitting for
exploration, mountain sports and relaxation regardless of the time of year.
The
local Sixt-Fer-a-Cheval ski area are within walking distance from the chalet and the
slopes will lead you directly down to the chalet. The 14 km long famous Cascades
ski slope from the Flaine ski area ends in the immediate vicinity of the chalet and for
cross country skiers the cross country path in Sixt passes right by the grounds. The free
ski buss will take you from Sixt Center to and from the lifts in Samoens for connection to
the Flaine ski area.
Sixt-Fer-a-Cheval
and Chalet Le Moulin is a unique gateway for summer activities in the mountains. Hiking
and mountain bike trails pass by in the immediate vicinity of the chalet and lead visitors
into the vast natural reserve of the Grand Massif. Mountain bikes for rent are readily
available in Sixt.

With a
full 275 m2 of habitable surface including basement the chalet easily accomodates
11 adult sleeping guests + 2 children and is ideally suited for a two families keen to take advantage of the
many mountain sports possibilities in the area both in winter and summer. Completed in
December 2003, the chalet is fresh new and equipped with new and tastefull furniture and
